Seit langem hatte ich eine erste Reise in die Kapregion Südafrikas geplant. Dass es dann endlich umgesetzt werden konnte, war vor allem auch Zayd Burrows zu verdanken, der lange im Voraus mit uns eine ganz individuelle und unseren Vorstellungen entgegenkommende Planung bzgl. Reisezielen, Hotelunterkünften, Touren und Aktivitäten entwickelte. Alles gefiel uns dann vor Ort bestens und übertraf in den meisten Fällen unsere Erwartungen. Lehrreich und für solch eine erste Erfahrung in einem Land sehr informativ waren auch die vielen Gespräche mit Zayd in den Tagen, in denen er uns in Kapstadt begleiten konnte. Eine besondere Erfahrung hierbei war der gemeinsame Besuch in einer der ältesten Townships, ein Crash Kurs in Bongo spielen inbegriffen. Insofern eine klare Empfehlung für Zayd Burrows und seine langjährigen Vertrautheit mit Südafrikareisen!

Wir haben um den Jahreswechsel 2016/2017 an einer 10-tägigen Gruppenreise von East London nach Kapstadt unter der Reiseleitung von Zayd teilgenommen. Zayd hat es dieser Zeit verstanden, in einer von Beginn an lockeren Atmosphäre die unterschiedlichen Charaktere einer Gruppe zu einem harmonischen Miteinander zu lenken. Seine spürbare Liebe zum Land haben wir in interessanten Beiträgen zu Flora und Fauna teilen können; ebenso haben uns seine spannend vorgetragenen Ausführungen zur geschichtlichen und politischen Entwicklung von der Entdeckung bis zur Gegenwart gefesselt. Wissenswertes zu ethnischen, religiösen, wirtschaftlichen Themen haben unsere Kenntnisse auf unterhaltsame Art erweitert. Südafrika mit Zayd bleibt auch nach Monaten als sehr positiv in Erinnerung.

Wir hatten zwei unvergessliche Tage in Kapstadt- Zayd hat uns nicht nur die Hotspots der Stadt gezeigt, sondern auch Plätze, die man als Tourist nicht finden würde. So haben wir viele Informationen und Eindrücke des "realen" Südafrikas gewonnen, auch aufgrund Zayds Wissen über Gesellschaft, Politik und Geschichte. Unvergesslich ist uns auch die Peninsula Tour, eindrucksvolle Natur!

Zayd, der beste Reiseleiter den man sich wünschen kann: engagiert, interessiert, umsichtig, zuverlässig, witzig und feinfühlig. Er konnte uns sehr viel über das Land, seine Traditionen und seine Menschen mitgeben. Wir fühlten uns zu jedem Zeitpunkt und in jeder Situation gut aufgehoben und sicher. Ein Highlight!

Thank you, Zayd, for contributing to make our trip to Cape Town all that it could be! If on any future trips to Cape Town I'd feel cheated if you couldn't be our guide!
Zayd instantly more than met our expectations with his fun, enthusiastic personality ready to "show off" (and rightfully so) his fabulous homeland. He is easy to converse with, making for many laughs and many serious conversations

All of the transport and guides you arranged were great. They were friendly, helpful, and on time! Zayd Burrows is a real gem. What a wonderful, good-hearted man. I felt like we really made a friend. He went out of his way more than once to make our trip special. We did ask him to take us for a township tour for a half day. This was really worthwhile, even though we weren't sure about it when planning the trip. Zayd made it all seem really hopeful, and not just a depressing place. I would recommend it (and him) highly…

Well I'm back. The trip was great and the group was fun. We had a diverse selection of options from which to choose and we all feel we made the right choices. I want to check to make sure I am spelling Zayd's name correctly Zayd Burrows correct? He has a great personality and a wealth of knowledge about his home. He conducts a great tour of the townships which was more colourful and educational than any other part of the trip. You must hang on to your relationship with him. He is a very effective PR person, helpful to a fault and joins into verbal give and take easily. I am proud to be able to say I met him.

We had a wonderful time, as you knew we would. Let me first say that ALL of our many flights were on time. This was just amazing and really made the trip smooth.
Cape Town was also a lot of fun. I don't know if you know Zayd Burrows, personally, or not, but he was a great guide. He was knowledgeable, caring, very responsible and all around a good guy. I can't recommend him enough! I hope you can use his services again for others who you schedule to visit the city.

My son and I had a wonderful time touring with Zayd during our trip to Capetown during World Cup 2010. Zayd and I emailed with each other in advance and his itinerary for us was a perfect balance of beauty, fun, education, and WINE. I only wish we'd planned MORE time in Capetown with Zayd during our stay in RSA.

Also, our guide in Cape Town , Zayd, was so great! In fact, I would like to send him a thank you note because we just got along so well and he was just wonderful. If you could provide me with an address, e-mail address or some other way to get a note him I’d be so appreciative.”

Cape Town was wonderful and we hated to say goodbye to Zayd. What a man...we felt like we left a good friend behind. He and Jody had some good times too. He was the best as a guide and as an incredible person. Thanks for connecting us to him as he made the trip.

We loved Cape Town and the Table
Mountain Lodge, and we can't say enough about Zayd Burrows. He was very
personable and fun, and showed us all the Cape Town highlights making
sure we
were all safe and accounted for.
